Generating Ideas
Are you putting off writing because you're "waiting" for that big idea? Sure, you might eventually think up the "big" one, but with a little push, you might get there faster. If you're looking for a story idea or need inspiration, here are a few ideas from About.com:

5. Newspapers - If it doesn't inspire your writing, you'll at least have news to talk about while you're hanging around the courthouse.
6. Press Releases - Also check out business journals and local magazines to find out what new businesses have been incorporated in your area for ideas.
7. Talk shows
8. Talk Radio - Listen to NPR (or your local version) and other talk radio shows and you're bound to pick up great ideas.
