Working Mother Magazine and Flex-Time Lawyers have announced the Second Annual results of the 50 Best Law Firms for Women.

Why is this trailblazing professional ranking so noteworthy? Because the question women all too often face in the profession is… should I stay or should I leave?. According to the Center for Work-Life Policy “42% of women lawyers leave the profession at some point in their careers.” This ranking shows off 50 firms that allow flexible work arrangements or are committed to helping women advance in the profession.

Keep in mind, law firms appear to self-elect to particpate in this survey and firms must have at least 50 lawyers to participate in the survey. If your firm didn’t make the list (or one you’re eyeing), don’t freak out. There are many incredible firms out there that deserve awards for flexibility and commitment to work/life balance.
