Darling Hill Giveaway: 12 Months of Sittercity Membership
Thanks to Sittercity and Mom Blog Marketing, Darling Hill has the perfect giveaway for lawyer parents: 12 months of Sittercity Membership ($95.88 value).
Whether you work full-time, part-time (from home or not), or have taken a career detour, finding a sitter can be tough. While I've never used Sittercity, I've heard through the grapevine that lots of moms (and dads) have had success finding sitters, even at the last minute. For lawyers who are interested in contract work, going solo, dabbling in the law, or have an interview scheduled (or are actively job seeking and may have one at some point), knowing that you could find a sitter even in a pinch is priceless. Trust me on this...you don't want to cancel an interview because you can't find a sitter or because a sitter bailed on you at the last minute. Of course, if you don't have children, why not win this for a colleague or administrative assistant?
Here's what Sittercity and Mom Blog Marketing say about the service:
Sittercity, America's largest and most trusted online sitter network, makes it fast, safe and simple to find the perfect sitter. With hundreds – even thousands – of babysitters and nannies right in your own neighborhood, Sittercity puts the best local sitters literally at your fingertips. Find the perfect sitter with Sittercity's four-step screening process and detailed sitter profiles that feature background checks, reviews from other parents, references, distance from you, availability schedules, photos, training and certifications, and more. Your perfect sitter is just a click away!
Here's the giveaway scoop & fineprint (a.k.a. the rules):

11,865 Sitters Found
We used to about 3 high school age sitters we trusted and then they all graduated and went to college. I've been using friends' nannies but we really need to expand our sitter options.
As a lawyer/mom, sometimes you just need to get out and not think about law or parenting and just go on a date with your spouse!
I tweeted the contest!

696 sitters. woohoo, I'm out in the sticks!
seriously, thanks for the giveaway, and thanks for the blog!
2,524 Sitters in my area--fantastic!
My husband is a stay-at-home daddy right now but will hopefully soon be employed. Once that happens and I take over full-time care of our 10 month old, having a sitter (or mother's helper) will allow me the flexibility to practice law part-time-- and help us pay the bills!
Darling Hill is a wonderful resource for all of us "lawyer mamas" out there... thanks for providing a much-needed service!
Great giveaway too!
