Time to Move Beyond Talk of Short Skirts in Court?

Wonder what judges and lawyers are talking about these days? Apparently, it's the length of skirts. We're talking women lawyers' skirts. Short skirts are referred to as a problem. A problem that needs correcting.
Sure, I'm a liberal lawyer mom with a background in women's studies, but isn't it time to move past the wardrobe discussion? The last thing adult women lawyers should have to deal with in the law is male lawyers commenting on their fashion. Personally, as a mom, if I can manage career and family and still have time to work out at the gym, I'm not a fan of anyone telling me that I can't show off what I've got--if, when and where I want to. Sure, it's all a matter of taste. But that taste is mine. If it distracts you, that's not my problem, really.
And, need I mention that what lawyers choose to wear--for good or bad, if you feel inclined to judge, is yet just another way to brand ourselves, kind of like an edgy Twitback, don't you think?
Am I alone on this one?

Sure, honey. You can wear what you want. But don't mind me if I tell you your coochie is hanging out of you skirt in court.
Respect is a two-way street.
