Darling Hill

This post is completely Off (Darling Hill) Topic. It has nothing to do with the law or flexible lawyering. Zilch. It's a shameless self-promotion plug, if you can even call it that. Well, actually it's more like an invitation. Okay, let's get real. It's about me begging my fellow lawyers and readers to vote for me.

You see, Natura (Benjamin Moore) is holding a room makeover contest. I have a nasty...and I mean awful...bonus room in my recently acquired pre-1900 house that needs some serious love. Get this, it's an orange room with ancient wanna be wood panelling. The vinyl floor squares are loose. There's a rockin' red velvet couch in the room, a funky old tree-slab "bar", and a ceiling beam covered in handwriting that appears to be some heartbroken teenager's diary. I'd love to transform this room into a playroom...add some color...charm....hmm...a little decorative pick me up... maybe then I'd have more time to update this blog.

Last check, my room was in the top 10 (entries that finish in the top 10, go on to round 2 - judged by a Benjamin Moore panel...grand prize winner gets a room makeover, other top 10 finishers score paint!!!). Just by voting on contest entries, you're eligible for a prize of $500 cash from Natura. FYI, I'm in no way affiliated with Natura or Benjamin Moore. Just obsessed with their paint (hey, pregnant lawyers did you know that Natura is a zero VOC paint...guess that means you don't have to beg someone else to paint the nursery for you)!
