In light of the devastation following the Haiti earthquake, today fellow lawyer/mom/blogger, Joanne Bamberger, perhaps best known in the blogosphere as PunditMom posted a challenge on her blog: to get every blogger and Twitter user to donate $1 to a relief organization of their choice.

Since there are millions of bloggers and six million Twitter users, imagine how much aid could be raised with individual contributions of a single dollar! You know the saying, it takes a village.... I nearly blew a dollar at Target today on a box of junior mints (hey, preggo lawyer moms did you know a box has 10% iron?...I'm not suggesting you eat candy over Spinach, but if you can satisfy a craving and iron intake at the same time...)...so I can certainly justify another $1. What about you?
