Very interesting. The only problem I see is that UE authorities would not accept it. if most of the physical preserce is in the EU. This results in legal and tax problems. For the US I think it is a good thing

I am tinkering with the idea of staying home with my baby and working part time on my own in a niche practice area, but I have a bizarre background as in-house counsel with no experience in a law firm at all, and while I'm a jack-of-all trades because of my experience, I don't feel confident in what the next steps are for me.

I agree; it's best to maintain at least one active license. I had to put my two other out of state licenses on inactive status though, because it just becomes too expensive and confusing with differing requirements from state to state. At least in my case, the inactive licenses can be made active by completing CLE on the off chance that they are needed.

Hi! I am looking for some very non-traditional advice. I am a 38 year old stay at home mom & I am interested in going back to school for my law degree. I have my bachelors in entrepreneurship/business management from a top 3 nationally ranked program& graduated magna cum laude. I ran my own business & sold it 6 years ago before the birth of my third child. We have since adopted our fourth child. I am processing all of my options at this point of career re-evaluation. Are there any scholarships/financial aid for non-traditional students? What kind of monetary outlay am I looking at? Would it be better for me to get a paralegal certificate first before committing to law school? Should I look for internships? Any advice would be great. Thanks!
